Meridian Waterside development – phase 2

Southampton Meridian phase 2 houses

Specialist housebuilder and brownfield developer Inland Homes is launching the second phase of homes at its landmark Meridian Waterside development in Southampton.

The one, two and three bedroom apartments and three bedroom houses in this new phase will be offered for sale off-plan for the first time this Saturday, 3 June at the Meridian Waterside marketing suite between 10am and 5pm, with prices starting from £159,950.

More than 80 per cent of homes in the first phase of Meridian Waterside have been sold already. Purchasers now taking occupation have been impressed by the high specification of the properties and the development’s potential as a new gateway into Southampton via road, only minutes from Southampton city centre.

Meridian Waterside is a 350 home scheme located on the site of the former Meridian TV studios, which was launched in February by ITV Meridian’s Fred Dinenage. Inland Homes is building four phases in total of one, two and three bedroom properties, set within courtyard gardens. There will be a new publicly accessible park set alongside Northam Road, which will enable access to a new riverside walk.

Vicki Noon, Sales and Marketing Director for Inland Homes, says; “There will be an excellent range of one and two bedroom properties in this phase but we’re not expecting them to be around for long. We only launched the first phase four months ago and it has already almost sold out. Now is definitely the time to invest in this second phase.”

Buyers can purchase selected properties at Meridian Waterside with a 20 per cent interest free loan using the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, subject to meeting the relevant criteria. A five per cent deposit is needed to access the scheme (www.helptobuy.gov.uk), and the Government lends up to 20 per cent of the rest of the cost of the home.
